Invite team members, assign roles, and manage user access across your organization.
What is user management?
User management lets you control who has access to 3MotionAI and what they can do. Each user is assigned to an organization with a specific role that determines their permissions. Users authenticate through Auth0 and can optionally use SSO if configured for their organization.
How to get started
Inviting your first team member is simple:
Click "Invite User" to send an email invitation with a role assignment.
Choose the appropriate role: Admin for full control, User for assessment access, or Viewer for read-only access.
For larger teams, use "Bulk Invite" to import multiple users at once via email list or CSV upload.
Once invited, users receive an email to set up their account. Their status changes from Invited to Active upon first login.
Key concepts
Understanding roles and user lifecycle:
Role hierarchy: Super Admin > Root Owner > Org Admin > Group User > Trial User > Tenant User. Higher roles can manage users with lower roles.
User status flow: Invited -> Active -> (Suspended or Inactive). Suspended users can be reactivated; inactive users have been explicitly deactivated.
License requirement: Users need an assigned license to perform assessments. Inviting a user does not automatically consume a license.
Data transfer: Before deactivating a user, you can transfer their assessment data to another user in the same organization.
